This rare bred Philodendron is gaining popular in the house plant world.

  1. Foliage: The most distinctive feature of our Philodendron Painted Lady is the long slender heart shaped leaves with hues of pink/red and green contrast.

  2. Size:Philodendron Painted lady can grow as a climbing or trailing plant, and it has the potential to become quite large. When provided with adequate support, it may produce aerial roots that help it climb.

  3. Light: Provide bright, indirect light for optimal growth. While it can tolerate lower light conditions, the plant is more likely to produce well-developed fenestrations in brighter light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.

  4. Watering: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly, but avoid overwatering, as Monstera deliciosa is susceptible to root rot. It's best to water when the topsoil feels slightly dry.

  5. Temperature: Painted Lady prefers warm temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Protect it from drafts and sudden temperature changes.

  6. Humidity: While it adapts to average indoor humidity levels, higher humidity can promote better growth. Regular misting or placing a humidity tray nearby can be beneficial.

  7. Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix that retains some moisture. A mix formulated for aroids or tropical plants is suitable.

  8. Fertilizing: Feed your Philodendron Painted Lady with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce fertilization during the dormant season (fall and winter).

Painted Lady Philodendron is not only admired for its ornamental appeal but also for its resilience and adaptability. With proper care, it can become a lush and impressive focal point in your indoor plant collection.
