The Little Finger organic Carrot, or Daucus carota, is a favorite spring or fall crop that is easy to grow. Here’s why Little Finger Carrots are the perfect addition to your vegetable garden:

Growing Season: Carrot seeds can be planted in early spring for spring production or in the late summer for fall production. Sow seeds 1/4 inches deep and space 1/2 inches apart. Sprouting can be expected in 10-20 days, depending on growing conditions.

Sunlight: These plants can tolerate part-shade conditions but will grow best with full sun exposure.

Water and Soil: Carrots require loose, well-draining soil. Soils that are heavy in clay should be amended with a quality soil mix to allow the taproot (the carrot) to grow.

Harvest: Typical harvest time is 60 days after planting. The small size of Little Finger Carrots make them excellent for fresh eating, juicing, and cooking.
