The Tiny Tim organic Cherry Tomato, or Solanum lycopersicum 'Tiny Tim’, is a compact tomato variety that is perfect for smaller garden spaces. Here’s why the Tiny Tim Tomato is the perfect addition to your vegetable garden:

Growing Season: Tomato seeds are best started indoors 6-8 weeks prior to the last frost date with a quality seed starter mix. Sow seeds 1/4 inches deep and keep in front of a sunny window or under an LED grow light. Transplant to the garden by mid-spring.

Sunlight: Tomatoes require full sun and thrive in the late-spring heat.

Water and Soil: Tomatoes require organically rich, well-draining soil. Tiny Tim’s small, compact size makes it an excellent choice for planting in a container. Be sure to plant your tomato transplants with quality plant food to reduce transplant shock and boost root growth.

Harvest: You can expect to harvest your first tomatoes in the early summer. Tiny Tim Tomatoes will be bright red and plump when ready to pick. This variety is great for fresh eating and for culinary uses such as adding to salads or cooking in omelets.
